As the third generation of the Maloney family to be involved in the plumbing business, Kathryn combines technical knowledge in the field with a marketing and management background to guide the company into the future. Leaving a successful career in advertising, she rejoined the family company in 1996, progressing from Secretary-Treasurer to Vice President and finally, assuming the role of President in 2009. She holds a BS in Business Management from Colorado State University and a MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management. Kathryn continues the tradition of hard work, innovation and delivering on promises that form the W.J. Maloney legacy. |

Leaving a solid farming background in Idaho, Mary and her husband, William Joseph "Duke" Maloney moved to Phoenix where they founded WJ Maloney Plumbing in 1964. Duke and Mary based the company on family values, a solid work ethic, meticulous craftsmanship and the continual search for improvement that have become its hallmarks. During Mary's tenure, WJ Maloney Plumbing has become a major presence as a commercial plumbing contractor, proudly contributing to some of the finest buildings shaping the Valley's skyline. The service department has also prospered supplying 24-hour plumbing service to the entire Valley. Her philosophy for managed growth based on customer satisfaction is simple and effective: "Don't over-extend - take on as much as you can do and do that well." |

When it comes to a solid background in plumbing, it's hard to beat five generations of experience - Scott is the sixth generation of his family to work in the plumbing and mechanical field. He learned at his father's side, a man who "had a reason for every decision, and always explained it." Scott became a journeyman plumber, while also learning the management side of business - he was Vice President of a large commercial plumbing company in Billings, Montana at 22. This rare combination of a journeyman's skill and a manager's ability to view the whole project makes Scott the ideal Director of Commercial Plumbing at Maloney, where attention to detail translates into accurate scheduling, innovation and VE savings for our clients. |
